Nottingham Regeneration Limited (NRL) has announced that 80% of the shared office space at New Brook House, Alfreton Road has now been let.
The building, owned by NRL with on-site management provided by Nottinghamshire Business Venture, is an ideal shared space facility for small enterprises or start-up businesses. The remaining units are available on the first and second floors and range in size from 240 sq ft to 300 sq ft.
Mona Walsh of NRL said: 'We are very pleased with the rapid take up of the business units and are confident that we will soon be at full capacity. The spaces, which have been very popular with small businesses, come with a range of support including administrative services, meeting and training rooms and a manned main reception.'
The building, part of the original Players factory immortalised in Alan Silitoes’s Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, has been extensively refurbished but retains many of its original 19th Century features.
Current tenants, which include both the public and private sector, include the Nottinghamshire Teaching Primary Care Trust; The Children’s Society STARS Project, African Initiative Support, The Princes Trust and Greater Nottingham LIFT Company.
Mona added: 'A bonus to start-up firms is that the offices are available with just one month's notice period meaning that businesses can 'move up the ladder' as they grow, taking on larger spaces elsewhere in the building if required.'
