Nottingham City Projects
Eastside
The Company’s work within the Eastside Regeneration area is now focused on Sneinton Market and the adjoining sites. It seeks to create a new sense of place through the promotion and delivery of public and private sector investment based on the vision created in the Sneinton Market and Eastside Gateway Neighbourhood Development Plan. Work also concentrates on the connectivity between the City Centre and the communities of St Anns and Sneinton to the east, and the requirement to ensure that wider regeneration benefits are captured.
Southside
Regeneration of the Southside will be led by the redevelopment of The Hub transport interchange, acting as a catalyst for Nottingham's emerging business district. The Hub will provide first-class rail links and connecting services with Line One of the NET and future Phase 2 lines running South and West of the city centre. The vision for Southside is to create Nottingham's new business district which meets the demand for A-grade office accommodation. Development will extend the city centre southwards breaking down physical and economic barriers.
Waterside
Nottingham's aspiration is to capitalise development opportunities around the River Trent; one of the City's greatest assets. The area offers a unique opportunity to exploit the river frontage and offers a truly unique environment for investment. The area boasts an unrivalled concentration of sporting venues such as: Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Nottingham Forest and Notts County football stadiums, Nottingham Racecourse and the National Watersports Centre. The vision is for future projects to better link the City to the riverside.
Other
The Company's work within Nottingham City extends outside the three regeneration zones and helps broker the long term, shared solution to ensure that Nottingham will be physically fit for the future. Regeneration across the wider Nottingham area and beyond continues with NRL assisting in various projects at different stages of the development process.
